The CMPQ took part in the FQAS annual training

The FQAS annual general assembly took place at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal on November 27th 2010. The FQAS was also offering 2 continuous training sessions of 2 hours to all its members present. The CMPQ was invited to participate in those training sessions. We presented on the rapid neurological evaluation of a stricken diver and also the treatment procedures in a hyperbaric stretcher.

The CMPQ took part of the diving Jamboree 2010 at Percé Quebec

The CMPQ Medical Director and the Coordinator took part of the diving Jamboree which was held at Percé, Quebec from the 12th to the 15th August 2010. More than 500 dives were completed during the event. This was the most important event of its kind in Canada. The CMPQ wanted to participate at this event in order to meet the divers and to make them aware of the services offer by them.
