Side effects

Once the ambient pressure rises in the hyperbaric chamber, you will feel a slight ear discomfort like you would feel in an airplane.  On your first visit you will meet a Respiratory Therapist which will be teaching you the different methods to clear your ears and therefore reducing the discomfort.  Some patients have noticed a slight vision impairment whilst their being treated for long period of time.  You should keep your spectacle because this effect is reversible.  It is recommended that you should wait 3 to 4 months before getting an eye examination.
